A former fisherman’s cottage that has been lovingly converted to sleep up to four (one double room and one twin bedded room), Harbourside is the perfect seaside bolthole for families and couples alike.
We’re proud of our heritage and you’ll discover echoes of this throughout the cottage, from the nautical décor, including old sea charts and quirky driftwood pictures.
To make the most of Harbourside’s unique front-line location, the open plan lounge is on the first floor and the large, double patio doors open out onto a balcony overlooking the harbour and the Farne Islands. It’s a cosy room too when the weather’s less than kind, with a log-burner effect electric fire set into the rustic stone fireplace. You’ll also find a well-equipped galley-style kitchen on the first floor.
Downstairs, there are two bedrooms – a double and a twin – plus a family bathroom. There’s a washer-dryer and ironing equipment and you’ll find lots of fun games and beach equipment that is free for guests to use too.
